Manikyakallu Malayalam Movie Review

M.Mohanan is a director who has a potential to deliver good stories with a natural feeling. He has only one film in his credit, Kadha Parayumbol, but it is always remembered for its genuine theme and presentation. The movie which told the story of friendship between a film star and a normal man is considered as one of the finest movie in that genre. The success of Kadha Parayumbol proved that story and screenplay is the real star in film, even though the film has big names like Mammootty and Sreenivasan in casting list. The film later remade in Tamil and Hindi were also criticized for its concept. The director is back with his new movie Manikya kallu which also considered to be a family movie. The director himself writes the story, screen play and dialogue for the movie. The film now creates high expectation with its posters which have beautiful quotes. 

Review of Manikya Kallu

Manikyakallu, the latest movie of Prithviraj, released in Kerala today, May 5, 2011. The film opened in all major releasing centers with average initial collections, but will surely pick up in the coming days. The film seems to be a family story mainly deals with the deep relationships, also tells a beautiful love story.
