The south Indian Film Fare Awards for this year was announced yesterday. Mammooty is selected as the Best Actor for his role in fun filled Fantasy Film Pranchiyettan and Saint. Mamtha Mohandas bagged the award for best Actress for her role in Kadha Thudarunnu. Pranchiyettan also selected as the best film for the year along with the Best director for Ranjith. Best Male Singer: Hariharan ( Aaro Paadunnu from Kadha Thudarunnu)

Best Supporting Actor: Biju Menon
Best Supporting Actress: Urvashi
