Kerala Box Office Collections - July 1st Week 2011-Theater Reports

Kerala Box Office Collection Reports for the first week of July month of 2011 is given here. This is an estimated collections the films got from different theaters in Kozhikod centers . The collections are calculated up to July 1. There are mainly 5 films running in the theaters up to July 1 which includes new releases such as  Bombay March 12, Violin and Three Kings and two other films- Rathinirvedham and Adaminte Makan Abu.

Kerala Box Office Report This Week- 6th July 2011

Mollyood theaters didn't see such a lukeworm running of films after the release date. So many expectations were there on these movies, but the films didn't get up to the expectations. What we are talking about is the performance of three mallu movies released last week. The films are Megastar Mammootty's Bombay March 12 1993, Sibi Malayil's Violin and V.K. Prakash's Three Kings.All the films had good publicity before the release, but the first show itself declared the verdict of these movies.

For Bombay March 12, eventhough the movie has a good message and narration, the fans and common peoples didn't like the whole movie. Director Babu Janardhanan tried his best in his debut film. The songs from this film are very good and already became hits. But the film will end up as a loser in the coming days. This is Megastar's new entry in to the Flop list of this year. Early, the three movies, August 15, Doubles and The Train were debacles in the boxoffice.

Violin is the new film from Sibi Malayail with his favorite stars Asif Ali and Nithya Menon in lead roles. Because of the success of his previous venture Apoorva Ragam from the same cast, the viewers expected another Apoorvaragam. But the film is an emotional drama made with all the cliche elements, only positive to be mentioned is the melodious songs. It is strictly an average film and may end up as another flop in the box office.

Three Kings is the last release this week, it reached the theaters one day after the above two films. Although the initials are safe because of the prepublicity and preview reports, we have to wait some more time to know the faith of this movie.The initial collections are safe and the film opened with an above average collections helped the film to open in big. The film is a mindless laughing riot with no compliments on our logic. The film may succeed in the box office since films in this genre like Pappee Appacha which came under the same genre were hits in the money machine.
