The new Movie from Janapriyanayakan Dileep hits the theaters of Kerala Today with an average opening. The movie released in about theaters all across the state is getting an above average reports from the first day viewers. The FDFS Review of the movie makes it clear that the movie is not a cup of tea for everyone. If you are a serious Malayalam Movie Lover, you can make a try to watch Orma Mathram Malayalam Movie in the big screen, otherwise you can wait for the DVD of the film.

According to the the First day reports for the film Orma Mathram, the movie is mainly trying to portray the mentality of parents who lost their child. The movie is discussed about serious issues like Child Labour, Abortion and  Terrorism. But the problem with the movie is its technical department which often fails to evoke any fresh look to the film(although the movie is a serious one) and always reminds us old movies. On the positive sides, all the actors in the film scores well. Dileep did a wonderful job as the helpless father and husband and proves that he can do these type of charcters too. The national award winning actress priyanka coming with another good performance in this movie as the wife of Dileep, but the man(!) steals the show is Master Sidharth who simply remind in your mind even you leaved the theaters. Other actors like Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar and Dhanya Mary Varghese did their small roles with convinction. The script from C.V. Balakrishnan is average, but dealts with many socially releveant issues. The direction is  OK, also the editing as most part of the film dragged. The songs from Kaithapram Team is mostly suited to the film. The chances are rare to succeed these type of films in the box office. If you are a regular moviegoer, you can watch this movie for its serious theme and importance.

Rating:2.5/5
