How can you forget the First 3D film in Malayalam, the super hit Fun movie My Dear Kuttichathan from Navodaya Appachan? We are enjoying this film in its full spirit, even after so many years of its release. It is in 1995, the film released last which is its second release worldwide. The film collected a good amount of cash from the box office and that may be the reason behind the re-release of My Dear Kuttichathan again in Digital 3D in 2011.
Yes, Now the film again will make a release in digital 3D format for the most festival season of Malayalees, Onam 2011. Some questioned about the quality of scenes and the tastes of today's audience to watch this movie. But the film directed by Jijo, son of Navodaya Appachan, managed to deliver a fresh appearance to the whole movie when it released second time in 1995. Now, after 27 years after its first release (1984), the film is going to entertain you with great features of 3D and digital format. Well, the film will have some additional scenes to the original to make it with the tastes of current audience(OK?). Also some fine graphics and special effects will be added.
The new version will have additional footage in digital 3D and have cast including Prakash Raj, Santhanam, Urmila Mandothkar and many others.The running time of the film is also extended by 25 minutes. The producer Navodaya Appchan told in a press meet that the film will also be remade in other languages.The film distributed by Universal Movie Makers will reach the releasing centers for this Onam. Let us wait for the Kuttichathan to celebrate this Onam.
