Jayaram's Makeup Man Malayalam Movie Review-Another good makeup from Shafi

Makeup Man is the latest Malayalam movie in 2011 from the hit director Shafi. Jayaram and Sheela Kaur plays the lead roles in Makeup Man. The film is produced by Renjith Rajaputhra. The story and screenplay of Makeup man is from the hit writer duo Sachi-Sethu. For the songs written by Kaithapram Damodharan Namboothiri, Vidyasagar sets the music . The visuals are from Azhagappan. The film has Prithviraj and Kunchakko Boban in guest roles. Along with them, the film has a huge supporting cast including Siddique, Suraj Venjarammood, Janardhanan and Manian Pilla Raju.

 

Story of Makeup Man

Makeup man is the story of Balu(Jayaram) and his wife Anamika/Soorya(Sheela). The story revolves around their life in the backdrops of a film location. The movie opens with the marriage of Balu and Soorya. Balu is an unemployed MBA graduate whose marriage is fixed with Soorya, his 'Murapennu'. But when Balu met with so many financial issues and debts on his shoulder, Soorya's family fixed another marriage for her. Knowing this, Soorya run away with Balu and tied the knot with the help of Balu's friend, Kichu(Suraj Venjarammood). Kichu who happens to be a production controller, arranged a room for their first night which previously was the room of a heroine of a new movie Cindrella. The director(Siddique) and the producer(Janardhanan) mistakes Soorya as the new heroine. They liked her and fixed as the heroine of Cindrella. Balu also there as the personal makeup man of Anamika(Soorya changed her name as an advice from director) to stay in touch with her. In the location of Cindrella, Balu and Anamika have to face so many situations and no one except Kichu knows about their marriage. The rest of the story will spoil the interest.
